Curriculum Overview
Hana Bloom Academy offers a comprehensive K–12 curriculum rooted in the classical tradition. Every subject is taught with depth, intentionality, and the belief that well-educated students become well-formed people.
Academic Calendar
Hana Bloom Academy operates on a year-round calendar organized into four quarters. Each quarter concludes with a portfolio review where students present evidence of work across all subject areas.

Our Daily Rhythm
Core academics, when minds are fresh
We start the day with the subjects that need the most focus — mathematics, language arts, writing, and science. This is structured, intentional time. We move at the student's pace, not the clock's.
Enrichment, exploration, and application
Afternoons open up — history, arts, entrepreneurship, personal finance, independent reading, real-world projects, and field study. This is where curiosity leads and learning becomes lived.
Faith & Character
Woven throughout, not confined to a single class. We ask big questions, read widely, and let faith inform how we see every subject.
Mastery Over Schedule
We move forward when the student is ready — not when a calendar says so. Some concepts take a day. Others take a week. That's not a failure; it's the point.
Flexibility by Design
A museum trip, a family project, a great book that won't let go — we treat these as education, not interruptions. The structure serves learning; it doesn't override it.
Learning Tools
Structured curricula from leading homeschool publishers, selected for rigor and alignment with classical principles.

Arlington ISD (1994), Texas private schools — including those in a home setting that meet bona fide curriculum standards — are legally recognized and are not required to register with or be accredited by the Texas Education Agency.
